It has a manual ON/OFF with a built in automatic OFF after 15 minutes of nonuse. This will conserve battery life and ensures the tool is ready to use. It has inch/millimeter conversion and zeroes at any position. The clear, easily-read numbers are properly sized for the tool to ensure easy handling and better readability. Spacing between holes is 2-3/4" (70mm) and the fine adjustment thumb roll is for taking precision measurements.
