Each of my artworks hides animals, humans, or objects. This squirrel holds 64 hidden creatures and a Chaz face. I often conceal my face within my drawings. I craft them using Rotring Rapidograph pens, as fine as .13mm, on 100-pound acid-free bristol board with a plate finish. I begin with a pencil sketch, then add details, finding shapes of smaller animals to incorporate. It's like piecing together a puzzle. The final step is inking it in. My drawings aim to provide a respite from the fast-paced world, encouraging thoughts about nature and its incredible inhabitants.
