The thread ring must screw onto the entire length of the work piece's thread by hand, without excessive force. If this isn't possible, the thread doesn't meet the required standards (rejected). The reference temperature for parts and gauges is 20°C. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate. Independent lab calibration follows set standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC thread scanners.
- Manual Threading Test: The Gewindelehrring should screw onto the entire length of the workpiece's thread by hand, without excessive force
- Thread Quality Check: If the Gewindelehrring cannot be screwed on, the thread does not meet the desired standards (rejected)
- Reference Temperature: The workpiece and measuring tools are calibrated at 20°C
