With the flexiDOCK MB830SP-B, ICY DOCK introduces an internal hard drive dock for professionals. This allows you to switch up to three 3.5" SAS or SATA hard drives via hot swap and only need two 5.25" drive bays. The 100% tool-less and carrier-less design allows drive changes or hand installations in seconds. This saves valuable time compared to classic baking planes. A solid, all-metal housing ensures a long service life and better heat dissipation, protecting your important data at all times. To protect against overheating in demanding operating environments, an adjustable fan combined with a ventilated chassis effectively cools your drives. Installation or removal of hard drives from a computer system requires opening the case, using tools, and connecting cables - a process that can take several minutes for a single drive. If you are changing drives frequently, flexiDOCK is the better solution. The spring-loaded front flaps allow you to install the hard drives with your bare hand, without tools, screws, bays or other tools. The extra-wide front opening allows for effortless removal of the hard drives by hand, simply pull them out in seconds and save valuable time. The case is completely made of metal. The heat-dissipating properties of the case combined with numerous ventilation openings provides excellent passive cooling. For additional cooling performance, flexiDOCK uses a large 80mm fan with fan control. Use the low setting for quiet operation, for example in your private computer or NAS system. Set the fan to high for maximum performance for write-intensive applications, so the drives work in a safe temperature range at all times.
