In my architectural-inspired works, I often use a grid as a compositional structure, with squares representing pixels and referencing digital technology. In 'Bits Glitch 1', I employed a color palette and four objects - a solid square, a thin bar, two thick bars, and two half circles - to create a complex, meditative composition. By deciding which objects and colors to use in each square, and sometimes leaving them empty, I generated hundreds of possible variables. The result is a dynamic, energetic composition that I liken to a techno hieroglyph, encoding a secret language known only to its creator.
