Our top exterior latex primer, suitable for bare or previously painted wood, plywood siding, metal, vinyl siding, cement, stucco, masonry, and block surfaces. It helps prevent exterior plywood cracking and checking. Its unique formula allows application at 35F. Ideal as a first coat under latex exterior finishes. Sand glossy surfaces before use. Topcoat within 14 days, dries in 2 hours. Two coats needed for severely stained woods like cedar and redwood. Covers 350 to 400 sq. ft. per gallon. Apply with a good quality nylon or polyester brush or airless spray (thin with up to 1 pint of water per gallon for spray). Easy soap and water cleanup.
